| Shit. Last time I updated this thing I wasn't even a sophomore yet...scary. I read my last entry from a year and a half ago and my life is so much better now. It pretty much rules. It's so much less EMO than it was then. The world is so much more beautiful and fun when you don't have any PSYCHOTIC BOYFRIEND-OVERLY DEPENDENT-PATHETIC-LET ME BOTHER THE WORLD WITH MY PROBLEMS-BULLSHIT to worry about. It's really really great. I'm getting uber involved in school now. Let's see...I played a whore in Madwoman and got 2 callbacks for Senior Directed. I'm so fucking excited for this year!! It's been a blast already. I know no one except me is going to read this but I'm gonna offer you guys an extremely belated apology for being such a dumb fuck freshman year. NEVER AGAIN. I promise. | I don't want to look in the mirror every day and say, "I'd be so gorgeous if..." But I do. God. What's wrong with me?? I guess I'm just not happy with myself anymore. If only my skin were clear. If only I had a stomach like the girl in the magazine. If only I had thighs like that girl on MTV. If only I dressed like her. If only I didn't feel pale. | Hey guys! Thanks for all the happy birthdays on Friday! I had an awesome day! Then yesterday I woke up in the morning and my mom started tickling me and telling me "My little Amanda is 15 TODAY!" She was so excited. At about 8:30 ET came over and that was a surprise cuz I was still in my pajamas. We hung out in my mom's room watching Spongebob and then my mom brought us bacon and cinnamon rolls. MMMMMM. After an hour or two I got dressed and the 3 of us went to my mom's office to wait for her client. After THAT, my mom took us to the plaza and we went ice skating which was so much fun. Then his mom took me home so my mom and I could get ready. My mom showed me the new dress she got me from Emeralds to Coconuts (where I should take Cora cuz she'd love it if she hasn't been there already). Hillary and Dennis (ET's mom and stepdad) picked us up a while later and we headed out to his dad's restaurant in South Lake called Severine's (named after ET's stepmom). I met Severine, ET's new baby brother, Julian, and his other little brother Clement outside the restaurant. His dad was so nice and Severine's was so lovely. ET went into the kitchen and made me fried calamari. MY FAVORITE! After that we had grilled salmon and cheesecake. Oh my god, everything was so delicious. Severine and Julian came to visit us at our table every once in awhile and she and my mom talked. Julian isn't even 2 months old. He was PRECIOUS! At one point, ET and I went outside so he could show me his dad's Spyder. God that car is cool. After we left the restaurant ET came to hang out at my house until a little after midnight. That was an incredible birthday. Now today, I get to see my dad and he's gonna cook for me. Life rules. | | |
